nonna isabella’s pasticceria

Nonna Isabella’s is an artisanal, family-owned Sicilian bakery in New York City serving fresh Italian pastries and strong espresso. The pasticceria is inspired by my Italian great grandmother who immigrated to New York through Ellis Island in the early 20th century. I drew inspiration from her old handwritten recipes and incorporated hand-drawn illustrations of pastries and desserts to create feelings of nostalgia and warmth in the brand’s atmosphere and presentation.
